This image reminds me of a dance choreographed by Pina, the German dancer. Have you seen Wim Venders film about her? I think you would appreciate the visual images…
No I havn’t, guess I gotta check em out.
Thanks Anna
Great photo…I love black and white..there is something so wonderful about painting without colour. Cool indeed…
aah, true. it has it’s own charm
The range of subtle tones is vivid. Nicely done.
It’s crisp! It gives me a feeling of being crisp!
Superb line patterns and subtle variations of tone. this is essentially a black and white subject – it would be a very ordinary colour picture.
This is a perfect example of how black and white breathes life into an image… had this been done in color, it would have been less than mediocre, with as much interest as watching paint dry.
The ‘dance’ of the chairs, perfectly choregraphed around the tables… the shadows bringing a vitality ‘color’ couldn’t hope to.
This is a powerful and evocative image… bravo!!
love the way the light is entering the room…great shot
Love the lighting 🙂 and since it is accentuated due to B&W tone, i like it even more 🙂
I love the caption you used. I have always loved black and white I feel as if it makes people look at the picture longer imaginiging what colors could be there. The story it could tell and the story it already does.
Untold stories… true
I’m not a big fan of black and white photography, but occasionally I find something that is unique and strikes me in a good way. Such is the case here today.
