Here Comes the Sun (and Happy Mother’s Day)

“Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.”

― Emily Dickinson

A beautiful song:

“Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darlin’ it’s been a long cold lonely winter
Little darlin’ it feels like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darlin’ the smiles returning to their faces
Little darlin’ it seems like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes
Little darlin’ I feel the ice is slowly meltin’
Little darlin’ it seems like years since it’s been clear
Here come the sun, here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Here come the sun, here comes the sun
It’s all right, it’s all right”
― George Harrison

Also, would like to say, HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY. Today’s post dedicated to you! Without you, I wouldn’t have been there. Without you, I wouldn’t been who I am today. Thank you mother, in fact, thank you is barely enough!

  1. Some great photos. I have today purchased a digital camera, as I have been inspired by the images shown on WordPress.

  2. You are an artist – you quoted one of my favorite poets: “Find ecstasy in life; the mere sense of living is joy enough.” Emily Dickinson

  3. I was at a pop concert at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London in 1972 and Richie Havens sang “Little Darlin'”….. oh, memories…. 🙂

  11. Most of us are usually only interested in taking pictures of sunsets. Maybe this week as I get ready for the day I will notice the sunrise for what it is: A new hope and a fresh start on the road of our lives. Nicely done!

  12. Simply Wow!!
All of them are lovely, I especially like the first and the third one…maybe because I love the orange tinge in the sky!
The pictures are really very beautifully captured.
